Mountain Vila GRAND is a new apartments residence house in attractive residential locality of High Tatras - Malý Smokovec. Locality is a part of Nová Lesná village, however is situated close in the neighborhood of Dolný Smokovec. Thanks to south position over the inversion zone, proximity of ski slopes and of the Aquacity Poprad aquapark, mountain climate and 270 sunny days a year it is an ideal place for holiday in the winter as well as in summer.

Pension Vila GRAND is designed as a stylish mountain residence offering high standard of accommodation in Tatras. It is inspired by traditional mountain architecture of this area. Situation of the residence on the rocky moraine does not have any similarity in High Tatras or anywhere in Slovakia.

Pension Vila Grand - accommodation: offers 36 beds in 8 apartments. Apartments are spacious and well equipped. Certainty is completely furnished kitchen with refrigerator. Each apartment has its own bathroom with bath-tub, bidet and floor heating. You will not miss telephone, TV and wi-fi internet connection. All the apartments have terrace or loggia. Some of them have their own gardens (A2, A3, A4). Apartment number 8 has its own fire-place. North oriented rooms have beautiful view on Tatras, whereas south oriented profit from long sunshine. In interior dominate wooden massif and stone.

In national park High Tatras, which is the oldest national park in Slovakia from 1949, you can find 600 kilometers of marked touristic paths. During your journey you can see several vegetable and animal endemits, which occur only in High Tatras.
Most famous of those are marmot and chamois. Both of them became symbols of High Tatras.
There are 12 climbs on peaks higher than 2000 meters over the sea level in Tatras. Most famous are Rysy (2503 m.o.l.),Jahňací štít (2230 m.o.l.), Furkotský štít (2403 m.o.l.) a Kriváň (2495 m.o.l.).
Tatra's magistral
Main touristic route leads with 46 kilometers from Podbanské trough Štrbské pleso, Sliezky dom, Hrebienok, Skalnaté pleso,Zelené pleso and ends by Biele pleso.
Circulars
Altogether 12 mountain circulars in High Tatras are traditionally favourite destination of mountain routes. They provide refreshment, shield over the rainy, windy weather and possibility of sleep over the night.

Description of restaurant: The heart of VilaGRAND is lobby bar - winter garden with view on High Tatras. The dominant here is large stone fire-place. In winter its flame creates unrepeatable atmosphere. In summer is space extended into outer terrace connected with garden.

Time within 7am till 10am is reserved for serving breakfast for guests. They can choose from wide and quality menu. Past the breakfast is lobby bar opened from 10am till 10pm.

In close surroundings of VilaGRAND there are many restaurants of various price ranges. 200 meters from guest-house is stylish wooden chalet with traditional Slovak meals menu.
